So... I had this date with this Dave a few months back - like 3 months back. One date. It had potential. Great chemistry. Great date. And then... nothing. No call, no text, no smoke signals... until tonight.
So... this is a lesson in not taking things personal. It really has nothing to do with me. The good news was I wasn't too broken up about it. I did wonder for a few minutes... was it something I said? Did I talk too much? But once those few moments passed I never thought about it again. Silly thing was his number was still in my directory with a name attached. So I had to google my text messages and figure out who he was in my mental archive.
In the end, it truly had nothing to do with me. It wasn't personal. I really should remember this lesson.
